Know Any Competitive Teachers or Creative Students?

CALL FOR ENTRIES: Our fourth annual Great Lakes Middle School Water Safety Contest is open, and this year you can with with a poster or a video!

The winning poster and video will best depict the theme, “learn how to swim and be water smart.” Winners will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.

Drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death in kids under 15, and entering this contest is a way for kids to help keep each other safe around the water. Learning how to swim is fundamental, but there is more to being water smart than knowing how to swim. No one is drown-proof, but all drowning is preventable.

We challenge middle school teachers and their students to enter a poster design and/or a short video.

Enter by midnight, April 15, 2022 (tick tock on the TikTok!)
